Mini Hiatus

We’re making a video, a sort of “day in the life” in V I’s Chicago.  I’m also taking part in Discovery Channel’s new “Hardcover Mysteries” series.  I’ll let you know the run date.  That, getting ready to launch Body Work, and trying to come up with a storyline for a new book have kept me from attending to this blog–sorry to leave everyone hanging, but I’ll be back with a new post soon!

Sara, the V I’s video sounds great. Do you know how or when it will be released? You certainly do have a lot on your plate right now. Come back when you can.

Look forward to seeing the videos. You work hard, we understand that. We’re just happy you choose to share some of your time with us.

  • Go for it! We’re not going anywhere 🙂

  • I completely understand and sympathize. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate! Come back and tell us all about the fun, when you have time.

  • Thanks for all these generous messages. I’ve posted some stills from the video on my Facebook page if you want to see them. My dog Callie is making her screen debut, but no one took a still of her. She’s become incredibly self-important, demanding filet, 4 swims a day, and pedicures, so I don’t know if putting her in the bright lights was a good idea

Love that Callie is making her screen debut in the video. Goldens are perfect video subjects but can be prima donnas at the same time. Callie may need her own staff after the video comes out.

    As they say,****Breaking News***

Please go to the National Public Radio website, and take part in the “Killer Thriller” poll of the “Top 100 Thrillers.” There you can vote for ten books, including “HARDBALL,” which is on the list. On Aug. 2, they’ll announce the “Top 10 Killer Thrillers.”

    Be sure and vote now!!

    I just voted.

You deserve all the breaks you need. We will wait for you however long it takes. We know you will come out with gem of a book. Can’t wait to see the Discovery Channel and the video.

  • Good luck with both video and storyline ideas…What sort of work do you have to do to prepare for the new book launch when it gets this close to release? Is it a matter of preparing yourself for events that your publisher/agent schedules, or do you need to actively jump in on the promotional planning stages?
